News: Site Changes
Greetings Closet Assistant members,
We hope you liking the
changes you see on Closet Assistant. The modifications have only just
begun, so stop by often to see what's new. We're constantly adding
features to keep Closet Assistant easy to use and entertaining for you.
Remember, Closet Assistant is a work in progress. Also, communication
is key. Any updates you see are a direct result of user communication
so please, never hesitate to let us know how you're feeling.
We're working hard to bring you new features that will make Closet
Assistant more exciting and easy to use. Here are some of the upcoming
modifications you'll see:
- Closet Assistant Answers -
Located under the community answers section, this feature will allow
users to pose questions to fashion experts. If you're not sure what to
wear to a certain event or what goes best with your new trousers, this
is the place to get your answer!
- User Reward System - The more you upload items, exchange
info, and interact with others, the more points you get. And the more
points you earn, your chances of winning one of our weekly prizes
increase! We'll have large prizes available for our most active user
each month. Also, we'll be assigning points to every Closet Assistant
"action". Each time you're active you'll receive a point and after you
store them up, you can trade them in for cool gifts.
- Closet Assistant Blog - We'll be keeping track of the hottest
trends on our blog. From patent leather to peep toes, we've got you
covered. Check the blog for fashion tips and trends.

Closet Assistant Stores - Like one of your friend's blouses? Been
admiring an acquaintance's boots? With the Closet Assistant store you
can place a bid on that item and make it your own. We're still working
out the details but we'll keep you posted!

We've update the my items section. You now have the option to view your items in list view or gridview. Log in to check it out!

Update: Website Changes

We have modified the add items section to make it easier for our users to add items to their wardrobe. We have also made navigation easier for users. Users are now able to upload profile pictures again.

Update: And More Changes...
|
There are quite a few changes that we have released. Among them, the most notable are the fact that you can now hover over an item and view its description information. Also, we have further simplified the 'Add Item' process. We know that it can be confusing process, so we did our best to simplify it for you. The top navigation has changed slightly to give you more options and easily help you get to where you're going.

Update: Add Outfits / User Settings

Users can now successfully add outfits without getting timeouts. You can also update their profile with ease. Please let us know if we have any problems.

Update: Adding Events
|
We fixed the issue with adding outfits to events. We also have made it easier and more straight forward for you to add new events. Don't be shy... Give it a try!

Update: Adding Items
|
OK people, we have made it easier (and hopefully less complicated) for you to add an item. Also, we have created a "Fast Add" feature, for those, who just want to get all their items loaded in a hurry. Once you have added your item, you can always go back and edit it later.

Update: Events & Other Misc

So, we made our deadline we set for ourselves for having the events portion working by the end of the day Wednesday. If you haven't tried it yet... go ahead and try it now... if you're adventurous! Our training team will be documenting and release a short tutorial of how to properly do this.
Other miscellaneous changes have been made throughout the site. Go check them out!

Coming Soon (Events / Voting)...

We have had a lot of feedback from you guys requesting the ability to vote, as well as, create outfits for their friends upcoming events. We cannot guarantee a specific date of completion, but we expect this to take a solid week of developing. Keep your fingers crossed!

Member Involvement
|
If you visit the site daily, you have noticed the constant changes and improvements that have been made. We have already developed the site to our specification, and would love to mold it around our members! With that said, we know that there are certain features or areas that you would love to see incorporated into the site.
We will take all of the input into we receive into consideration. Our team will review them, and we'll begin development of the ones we approve.
Small or large, it does not matter. Reply to this post, and see if other members feel the same as you.

Update: Adding Friends

You can now search for, and add your friends! Adding friends gives you the ability to communicate with, and share fashion ideas between you and your friends. Your friends can recommend outfits that they think you should wear, and you can do the same for them.

Update: Comment on an item
|
You now have the ability to comment on clothing or outfits! If you are viewing an item or an outfit, you can leave comment as you browse. No profanity or rude comments please…They will be removed.
